The natterjack toad has become one of Britain’s rarest animals. This is due to
destruction and alteration of habitat, usually coastal sand dunes and sandy
heathland.
Since
1991, Wildlife For All has been working in co-operation with others to
increase numbers of natterjacks in the wild. Our large breeding enclosure
at The Oasis produces thousands of tadpoles each year, which are then
released at suitable nature reserves in southern England.
Over these years, we have also produced a variety of educational material
for the general public and schools in particular. |
